As a responsible organisation, we recognise the importance of reducing our carbon footprint and the growing urgency to operate our transportation, warehousing, and people mobility operations in a carbon-neutral way. We endeavour to become carbon neutral by 2040.
Our decarbonisation strategy encompasses sustainable transportation practices, reforestation initiatives, last mile electrification, energy efficiency measures, and piloting LNG and hydrogen fuels. Our commitment to sustainable practices extends to our infrastructure, including energy-efficient warehouses and offices, large-scale solar projects, EV charging infrastructure, and effective water management systems. Pioneering circularity, we prioritise the use of recycled materials, reusable packaging, rainwater harvesting, and wastewater recycling. With established carbon management strategies, we are actively developing technology to regularly monitor and audit our carbon footprint.

We are actively investing in making our warehousing facilities energy efficient and exceptionally sustainable, with a key goal of achieving IGBC platinum and LEED certification for all our multi-client large format warehouses. Using alternative energy is a crucial component of a green warehouse, and we are investing significantly in installing solar panels at various locations across India. These facilities are designed in accordance with our sustainability standards, including requirements for liquid discharge management, renewable energy, and waste management, as well as cutting-edge automation. State-of-the-art monitoring is used to measure warehouse air circulation, temperature, energy, and water usage, as well as heat mapping on the movement of trucks and people throughout the property for operational control, which influences the future design requirements of our logistics estates. The power supplied by the solar panels is utilised to power an EV charging station at the warehouses, which is available to all employees for free! The access is also tech-enabled to ensure the authenticity of usage, making us one of the industry’s forerunners in this area!
We have also created a sustainability room called ‘Green Hive’ which stations a sustainability dashboard to track all sustainability initiatives inside the warehouse. With all these measures, we plan to save up to 200 metric tonnes of CO2 emissions in each of our green warehouses every year.
